Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 2

Jose Abreu

Toronto Blue Jays (Morrow) at Pittsburgh Pirates (Cole)

Morrow is striking out over a batter per inning but his walk rate is out of control (16 in 22.1 innings). There’s no way I could justify taking him at his $15K+ price today, he should be about 30-percent cheaper. I’m not overly keen on the Jays hitters against Gerrit Cole tonight, either.

Gerrit Cole makes an interesting choice for tonight. He gets the fifth-highest scoring American League team and hasn’t had that one true eye-popping start yet that he is capable of. He is still priced fairly cheaply though and with the Jays rolling without a DH, it takes some thump out of their lineup.

Gerrit Cole (SP) – $15,036

Andrew McCutchen (OF) – $8248

Starling Marte (OF) – $4256
