Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – April 24

Colorado Avalanche at Minnesota Wild

Colorado lost their last time out in overtime, but in all realities, that was one that they more than deserved to lose. Even worse, Colorado lost their best defenseman in Tyson Barrie for the rest of the series (and likely the playoffs, unless they get to the Finals). Without their top forward and their top defenseman, I don’t see much hope for the Avalanche here tonight and for the rest of their series.

I look at it this way: Minnesota is completely healthy and Colorado is missing their two most important skaters. Of course Semyon Varlamov could always steal a game but I’m not going to overthink this one and stack the Wild.

With Barrie out, Nick Holden will play a much more prominent role for the Avalanche. That’s if anyone is looking for a potential Barrie replacement. The only thing I’ll take in this game is the top scoring line from Minnesota and Darcy Kuemper in net.
