Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 24

San Diego Padres (Stults) at Washington Nationals (Zimmermann)

I would probably just avoid the Padres for today. Eric Stults has pitched fairly poorly so far this year and their hitters have not fared much better. Basically the only guy I even bother starting off this roster is Seth Smith, and even then it’s getting less frequent.

Seth Smith (OF) – $4494

Zimmermann had a shaky outing a couple of weeks ago but has been solid at every other point this season. Given his price today, Zimmermann is my favorite value pitcher. There are some very nice values among the Washington hitters as well.

Jordan Zimmermann (SP) – $17,410

Ian Desmond (SS) – $5991
