Teddy Bridgewater’s draft stock has been on a downward slide since the Louisville Pro Day, and that may benefit the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Bridgewater is set to undergo a second workout with the Jaguars, according to multiple reports, and will also visit with the Houston Texans. Once a candidate to come off the board with the first overall pick, it’s becoming more and more likely Bridgewater could be a second-round pick — perhaps to the Jags who also hold the 39th pick.
Because Bridgewater could be a second-round pick, it allows Houston or Jacksonville to select the best player available with the first and third overall picks, respectively.
Teddy Bridgewater will visit #Texans next week. Per source, Bridgewater also is working out for the Jaguars. Previously visited Jax, too.

The Miami Dolphins have long been expected to nab an offensive lineman with its first-round pick. According to the Palm Beach Post, general manager Dennis Hickey has one prospect in mind.
The Dolphins are targeting Alabama’s Cyrus Kouandjio, per the report, as Hickey prefers him to the likes of Notre Dame’s Zack Martin, Michigan’s Taylor Lewan and Virginia’s Morgan Moses, whose stock has been on the rise of late.
“Dennis has got a love for Kouandjio and he should be sitting there for them,” a source told the Palm Beach Post.
Immediately following the college football season, Kouandjio was projected to be the third- or fourth-best offensive tackle in the class. But since, there have been concerns about his health.
During the NFL Scouting Combine, rumors were spread that Kouandjio failed multiple physicals as a result of a failed surgery on his knee while he was at Alabama. Soon after, Dr. James Andrews, who evaluated the tackle after the surgery, sent a memo to al 32 NFL clubs that the report was false.
More red flags emerged when Kouandjio did not participate the Alabama Pro Day. Kouandjio said the reason was “by choice,” which came at a bit of a surprise since he didn’t have a particularly strong combine performance.
