New York Mets (Gee) at Arizona Diamondbacks (McCarthy)

I like Dillon Gee as a pitcher but even after seeing what Jenrry Mejia did yesterday to the Diamondbacks, I don’t like starting him in Arizona. The Mets hitters are a bit inflated, even if they are facing Brandon McCarthy, so I would tread lightly here.

David Wright (3B) – $6469

McCarthy is dirt cheap and if there’s any game where he’s going to pitch well, it’s against the New York Mets. I don’t mind him as a cheap option for a third pitcher today. I would look at cheap hitters other than that, though.

Martin Prado (3B) – $5411

Chris Owings (SS) – $4501

Brandon McCarthy (SP) – $10,118
