Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 16

Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Johnny Cueto

St Louis Cardinals (Kelly) at Milwaukee Brewers (Peralta)

Joe Kelly has had a very strong start to the season, but his WHIP is over 1.4 and he only has seven strikeouts through 11.1 innings pitched. Those hits and walks can really dig into any fantasy value he might have to holding the Brewers to a couple runs, but he’s one of the cheapest on the board anyway. I will probably still avoid him.

Allen Craig (OF) – $4850

Kolten Wong (2B) – $5845

Wily Peralta has also had a good start to the year but he is going to start regressing hard here soon. It’s not a bad gamble that that could start with the St. Louis Cardinals. I don’t have a very good read on this game so I’ll just stick with the cheap hitters.

Scooter Gennett (2B) – $4739
