Oakland Athletics (Milone) at Los Angeles Angels (Skaggs)

Vegas thinks this will be one of the higher-scoring games of the day and I agree.

Milone only has one five inning outing so far this year and his only problem was the home run. Other than that, he was pretty solid. Those looking for a cheap starter could do worse, though the way the Angels are swinging the bats make me want to avoid him. The Oakland hitters are getting a bit expensive so I’d look for the cheaper players for the most part.

Yoenis Cespedes (OF) – $7865

Craig Gentry (OF) – $5735

Skaggs has looked good so far this year, seemingly he’s worked on his control issues (yes, the season is still very young) but it’s been at the expense of strikeouts. I would avoid him for tonight and take a wait and see approach with him for the near future.

Howie Kendrick (2B) – $6082
