Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – April 12

Philadelphia Flyers right wing Jakub Voracek

Chicago Blackhawks at Nashville Predators

Chicago was shut out in their game last night, a game where they announced very late that Duncan Keith would be a healthy scratch for the team (i.e. pre-game warmups). Considering they don’t have a thing left to play for, I would expect much of the same for guys like Marian Hossa tonight. It’ll be necessary to stay by your computer/mobile device as close to lineup lock as possible.

Nashville shut out the Coyotes a couple of nights ago and that was a game that essentially ended Phoenix’s playoff hopes (they are officially out now). This team has been one of the better teams in the NHL for the last month now (10-4-2 since March 10th) and I don’t expect anything different from them in this one.

How bullish I am on the Predators tonight will completely depend on what the ‘Hawks do with their players. And even then, we may not know until after lineups lock at 8 PM Eastern. I would be very, very cautious with using players from the ‘Hawks especially and I like the Predators (particularly whoever starts in net) for this one.
