Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 12

Houston Astros (Cosart) at Texas Rangers (Scheppers)

Jarred Cosart has a decent arm but he’s not striking out enough guys so far this year to really justify any sort of risk at Globe Life Park (?!) in Arlington. I’m not sure how high I am on their hitters, either, so I might just avoid this team altogether tonight.

Jonathan Villar (SS) – $5095

The Texas Rangers haven’t seen much of Cosart, much like most of the MLB. Their biggest hitters are all fairly highly priced so it’s a matter of how much risk DFSers are willing to take. I suppose Tanner Scheppers could make a decent pitching target, facing Houston and all, but I will not be taking him over others at his price point.
