Kansas City Royals (Chen) at Minnesota Twins (Gibson)
Bruce Chen makes for a pretty nice value pitcher today. The Twins are a pretty lackluster offense despite what they’ve done at times this year. Also, Chen’s big problem isn’t getting batters out, it’s the long ball. Pitching at Target Field should help that. I would limit myself on the Royals hitters, though, considering where they have to play.
Bruce Chen (SP) – $13,910
Billy Butler (DH) – $5482
Salvador Perez (C) – $5399
Kyle Gibson is pretty much a no-go on most days and that continues today. The Twins hitters are fairly expensive today so it depends just how much DFSers believe in Bruce Chen. I would try to stay on the cheap, though.
Trevor Plouffe (3B) – $6541
Jason Kubel (OF) – $5290
