New York Islanders at Columbus Blue Jackets
The Islanders lost yesterday 4-3 in a shootout and that halted their three-game win streak. This team has still miraculously taken points in seven straight games (5-0-2) and while only one of those games was against a playoff team (Tampa Bay), they should be doing a lot worse than they are.
Kyle Okposo is out but Michael Grabner has returned and that means the top line looks something like this: Anders Lee – Frans Nielsen – Josh Bailey. That might be their second line, who really knows. Either way, this team is getting it done offensively and most players are still pretty cheap in DFS for the most part.
Columbus has really been stumbling down the stretch, with the latest gaffe coming against Chicago on Friday night when the team gave up with winning goal with under four seconds left in the third period. The Jackets have pretty much been alternating wins and losses for a month now so it’s not realistic to expect a win from there here today. In fact, they were shut out by the Islanders two weeks ago to the day.
I would avoid the goaltenders in this one and just look at some skaters for both sides for 50/50 games.
