Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Picks and Lineup – April 5

Philadelphia Phillies (Lee) at Chicago Cubs (Samardzija)

Cliff Lee was rocked in his first outing of the season, but it was on the road in Texas so I’ll give him a pass. He’s only faced the Cubs once in the last two years so there’s not much to go on here. He is just one of the best pitcher’s in the game, it’s a matter of whether there is belief he can shut down the Cubs.

Chase Utley (2B) – $6082

Cliff Lee (SP) – $23,244

Samardzija was shelled in two outings against the Phillies last year, giving up 14 earned runs in 10 innings over two starts. I don’t think he’ll fare *that* poorly today, but I am avoiding him. I will probably just avoid the Cubs altogether in this one.
