Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Picks and Lineup – April 5

Arizona Diamondbacks (McCarthy) at Colorado Rockies (De La Rosa)

It’s safe to always avoid pitchers in Colorado and I will be doing so for both pitchers here tonight.

The only guy with a long history against De La Rosa is Cody Ross and he’s injured. This is to say, I’m not sure where to go with D’Backs players, only that they have a lot of value today. All I can really say is that I’ve liked the way Aaron Hill has looked at the plate so far this year. There’s no basis really for it, but he should be a good performer today.

Paul Goldschmidt (1B) – $8933

Mark Trumbo (OF) – $7112

Aaron Hill (2B) – $6214

De La Rosa got rocked in his first start and I don’t know if it gets much better coming home to Colorado. There isn’t much for batter against pitcher with the Rockies against McCarthy but I will say this: Justin Morneau is 7-for-18 against McCarthy in his career with only one strikeout. The lack of strikeouts gives him a nice floor on Draftstreet.
