Daily Fantasy Basketball: DraftStreet Value Plays and Lineup – April 4

On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

There is a massive 14-game slate today in the NBA. Get your lineups in as soon as possible.

Value Plays

Guard

Gerald Henderson CHA ($9,028)

In such a deep slate, there are a lot of players at around $9K who can make a contribution, but Henderson is the best value in that price range for tonight. He has reached 20 fantasy points in two of his last three games and was 7-of-13 from the field the last time the Bobcats faced the Magic, who they face off against tonight. Henderson’s usage percentage is also at 22.3 percent, which is the same as Paul Pierce, who costs $1,400 more than Henderson. Expect the former Duke star to get his fair shot of opportunities to put up at least 20 fantasy points against the Magic tonight, who are nothing special on the defensive end of the floor.

Forward

James Jones MIA ($4,678)

Jones continues to be one of the cheapest options at the forward position across the industry, so keep taking advantage. Since returning to the rotation, Jones has played four games where he is averaging 26 minutes and just around 13 fantasy points per game. At $4.6K, 13 fantasy points is great value. If he can continue at that pace, he gets great return for his cap hit and allows flexibility in the lineup. The Heat take on the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight who have allowed less than 100 points just twice in the last month. Jones could be a high-volume play tonight, so get him into your lineup.

Center

Joakim Noah CHI ($18,099)

Noah continues to be one of the safest picks each and every night in daily fantasy basketball regardless of matchup. But tonight he plays the Milwaukee Bucks who are amongst the league’s worst teams in terms of rebounding percentage. As you well know, Noah is a terrific rebounder, so that part of the matchup alone makes him an attractive play. In addition, Noah has been doing a little bit of everything in the last two months, flirting with a triple-double almost each and every night. That makes his floor incredibly high, leading him to be the best value at center tonight against a porous Bucks team.

Optimized Lineup

G – Shaun Livingston BKN ($10,251)

G – Arron Afflalo ORL ($9,577)

G – Gerald Henderson CHA ($9,028)

F – James Jones MIA ($4,678)

F – Taj Gibson CHI ($12,188)

F – Dirk Nowitzki DAL ($17,069)

C – Al Jefferson CHA ($18,375)

U – Joakim Noah CHI ($18,099)

Good luck tonight, and be sure to check the starting lineups before tip to be aware of any changes.
