Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – April 2

Anze Kopitar

Phoenix Coyotes at Los Angeles Kings

Phoenix lost in a shootout last night to the Winnipeg Jets and they might look back on that game should they miss the playoffs as one that got away. They’ll have to refocus tonight as they are visiting a Cup contender.

Thomas Greiss has done his part in net, posting a .943 save percentage since Mike Smith got hurt in New York. For DFS purposes, this team is probably not reliable tonight. The team is just 2-for-14 on the power play in their last four games, has just seven goals in those games and they will be starting a potentially very tired goalie tonight. I would probably stay away from the Coyotes at all costs.

Los Angeles has been rolling of late but one curious aspect of their streak is that they’ve allowed four power play goals in their last four games for an efficiency of 73.3-percent. Other than that, there aren’t many concerns for this team.

I would say stack the Kings but with the way that Greiss has been playing lately, even on a back to back it’s a bit of a concern. For those looking for GPPs, there aren’t many better options so the Kings are fine. I would rather just pick a couple of players, and probably Jonathan Quick in net, for my 50/50s today.
