San Francisco Giants at Arizona Diamondbacks

As far as match-up-proof pitcher go, Madison Bumgarner is most certainly in the conversation. Ideally, staying away from Chase Field is the play here, but Bumgarner is in the same price range of Jeff Samardzija and Sonny Gray. DFSers looking for a potential elite play that won’t cost elite money are fine to go with Bumgarner.

Madison Bumgarner (SP) – $18,594

Pablo Sandoval (3B) – $6744

I might shy a little away from Arizona to start the season. I have no idea how that trip to Australia might have affected the routine of the players and the unknown is bad for DFS. San Francisco isn’t a heavy hitting team so maybe Brandon McCarthy could be used, but even for his price point it’s a bit of a risk.
