Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – March 27

Steven Stamkos

Vancouver Canucks at Colorado Avalanche

Tonight does not bode well for Vancouver: the Canucks are 0-4-1 on the second game of back to backs since January 1, and that includes a loss to Edmonton (yuck!). The team has gone 6-3-0 in their last nine games but the back to back factor seems to overwhelm any thoughts this team had at making tonight their first four-game winning streak since mid-December. Basically, there’s nothing about this team that I like for DFS tonight so I will just avoid them completely.

The Avalanche are sputtering a little bit, going 2-3-1 in their last six games and allowing 24 goals against in those games. The offense has kept them afloat by scoring 18 goals in response, but the team defense and the goaltending has to be better if they want to win consistently.

I’m not going to overthink this one. It appears that Colorado will fill the net tonight so I will just take a stack of one of their lines, use Varlamov in net for some 50/50s and just hope for the best.
