On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

Value Plays
Guard
Giannis Antetokounmpo MIL ($7,487)
Tonight is one of those odd nights where it is a short slate, but still a lot of good choices. One of the reasons being because of two bad teams facing each other. Oddly enough, that equates to a good fantasy matchup for the 15 or so players participating. The Bucks take on the Lakers tonight, in what could be the worst rebounding game in the NBA this season as both teams are wretched on the boards. But, they have to land in someone’s hands, right? Expect a lot of missed shots, and a lot of fast-paced offense. This is where “The Alphabet” comes in, as he is one of the most athletic players in the NBA. At just under $7.5K, great value would be anything over 20 fantasy points. Considering he is coming off three games of 15 fantasy points or more, 20 is well within reach.
Forward
Terrence Jones HOU ($12,564)
The Rockets take on the Philadelphia 76ers tonight, and should they win, the Sixers would become a part of history. Their 26 losses in a row would be the worst losing streak in the history of the four major sports. Keep in mind the Rockets want to win this game either way, because they are in the thick of the playoff race. The Sixers players will try to do everything in their power to avoid such futility though, leading some to believe that tonight’s matchup will be a great one for fantasy purposes. Terrence Jones could be one beneficiary of this as he has been on fire of late. Jones has averaged over 30 fantasy points per game in his last four, and has reached at least two times his salary in all four games. Tonight that will likely continue against a horrid 76ers team who cannot stop anyone. Jones is just over $12.5K, and he could easily reach great value of three times his salary. Get him into your lineups tonight.
Center
Dwight Howard HOU ($17,650)
Howard is licking his chops at tonight’s matchup, and for good reason. He faces off against the Sixers who have no one close to him in terms of talent under the basket. If Howard is able to play over 30 minutes tonight, 25 points and 15 rebounds will almost be expected. At $17.6K, that brings him to great value right away. In addition to the Sixers’ woes (allowing 100 points or more in 11 of their last 15), they also allow a ton of blocked shots and steals. Michael Carter-Williams himself averages over four turnovers per game, and as a team, the Sixers are giving up seven blocks and nine steals per game. Dwight Howard is averaging just under two blocks per game this season, but expect more than that tonight. Howard could finish as the best player in terms of fantasy points tonight, so get him into your lineups.
