Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – March 23

Craig Smith

Florida Panthers at Anaheim Ducks

Florida has a really impressive streak going, depending on your personal definition of impressive; the Panthers have allowed a power play goal against in eight straight games (and allowed nine in total). This is the fourth game of the Western road trip for the Panthers and they have scored just four goals in the first three games of the trip. This team also hasn’t cracked 30 shots as a squad in six straight games, and it doesn’t look like tonight will be that night.

Anaheim has gone just 2-4-2 in their last eight games and have been seeing the ugly side of the puck luck lately. One problem with this team is that the power play has gone ice cold this month, going just 2-for-32 in March. The team isn’t getting shelled (other than that “what the hell happened” game against Calgary) so it’s not like they are playing exceptionally poorly right now. They are not getting the bounces though and that can be dangerous for a team gearing up for a playoff run.

Despite the Ducks’ luck lately, I think this is a good game to see them bust out of their slump. I certainly won’t have any Panthers in my lineup today but will likely have the Ducks’ top line stacked in at least one GPP somewhere.
