Daily Fantasy Basketball: DraftStreet Value Plays and Lineup – March 22

On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

There is a eight-game slate today in the NBA. Get your lineups in as soon as possible.

Value Plays

Guard

Willie Green LAC ($5,514)

Green has at least 12.5 fantasy points in his last four games, including two games of over 18 fantasy points. At just $5.5K, Green can reach great value at just 15 fantasy points. Considering the setting tonight, that is a very realistic possibility. As mentioned, Green has at least 12.5 fantasy points in his last four games, and is averaging 33 minutes per game in his last two. Look for Green to continue these numbers as the Clippers could potentially blow out the Pistons tonight, which would lead to more minutes from the veteran. In addition, the Pistons have given up over 100 points in 12 of their last 15 games, leading the way for the Clippers to do the same.

Forward

Reggie Bullock LAC ($4,106)

Another Clipper is set for great value tonight in Reggie Bullock. Not often will you see a player as cheap as $4.1K in fantasy player’s lineups, but tonight is one of those nights. As aforementioned with Willie Green, the Clippers face off against the Pistons tonight which could warrant a blow out. Should there be a blow out, Bullock’s value will not be hurt, as he is one of the players off the bench for the Clippers. Even if it is a close game, he should still see his fair share of minutes as he is averaging 26 in his last two games. At just over $4.1K Bullock needs 12 fantasy points for great value, which should be reached tonight against Detroit.

Center

Enes Kanter UTAH ($10,390)

Fantasy players all over have been rejoicing since Enes Kanter has been “unleashed” as far as minutes are concerned. The former Kentucky Wildcat is averaging just under 30 minutes per game this month, and has been productive. Kanter is averaging 11 points and 11 rebounds in his last eight games, and in the month of March he is averaging over a dozen points and rebounds per game. Tonight, Kanter and the Jazz take on the Orlando Magic, who are allowing the third-most defensive rebounds per game, and rank among the league’s worst with a .478 rebound percentage. Expect Kanter to dominate the boards on his way to another double-double and good fantasy value of over 25 fantasy points.

Optimized Lineup

G – Willie Green LAC ($5,514)

G – Chris Paul LAC ($19,225)

G – James Harden HOU ($18,169)

F – Reggie Bullock LAC ($4,106)

F – Greg Monroe DET ($15,904)

F – Kawhi Leonard SA($13,162)

C – Enes Kanter UTAH ($10,390)

U – Gordon Hayward UTAH ($12,701)

Good luck tonight, and be sure to check the starting lineups before tip to be aware of any changes.
