Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – March 20

daily fantasy hockey

Buffalo Sabres at Edmonton Oilers

Buffalo has all but packed it in for the season and that has meant a lot of losses; the Sabres have gone 1-8-0 in the month of March and have lost seven straight in regulation overall. The only skater on their side that can provide any sort of reliable daily fantasy value is Drew Stafford, and he’s been a hidden gem at times this year. Stafford has four goals and an assist in his last six games, though his plus/minus may take a hit given what team he plays for.

Edmonton has managed a 5-2-2 in the month of March and amazingly, have allowed just one goal against in three straight games. They will likely be without both Jordan Eberle and Nail Yakupov tonight so it’s curious as to what line jumbling might go on mid-game. On the bright side, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored in his last game for the first time since January 26th. Because of his slump, he still makes a cheap DFS play.

I’ve already committed about 100 more words to this game than I should have, given the Panzer-style tanking going on by Buffalo. I would be keen on whoever starts for Edmonton and might even stack the Sam Gagner line in games where I’ve stacked Pens players.
