Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – March 18

Buffalo Sabres at Calgary Flames

Buffalo has really fallen on some hard times of late as this team has lost six in a row (seven of eight) and have managed just 10 goals in their last eight games. With Jhonas Enroth and Michael Neuvirth expected to miss the game, it’s a mess in net. Defenseman Tyler Myers is also questionable for tonight and that leaves the defense corps fairly bare. It doesn’t take much to realize this is a skeleton crew at best right now.

Calgary has actually played some pretty good hockey his month, going 5-4 in their nine games. As I’ve raved about before in this column, their team defense has significantly improved. The team has also managed at least two goals in eight of their last nine games and have averaged three goals per game in those.

It doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to see that the Sabres have folded the tent on the season and the injuries don’t help. I would stream the Flames at will tonight and would even rely on Joni Ortio in any kind of DFS game.
