The best free-agent cornerback available remains unsigned, though odds are he’s landing in New York City. But to which team?
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has taken physicals for both the New York Jets and New York Giants, and both teams seem eager to add him to the roster.
Broncos CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is spending the night in New York so he can undergo a physical Monday with the Giants, per source.

As @RapSheet notes, DRC already took physical with Jets. He’ll take one with Giants tomorrow. #keepcalmandcarryon

I was told before weekend Rex Ryan wants to sign Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie badly. Ideal fit in his scheme. Jets desperately need him #nyj

Jets still interested in free agent CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. I also hear Antonio Cromartie wants to return. #NYJ

The Giants added Quintin Demps and Walter Thurmond to their secondary over the weekend, while the Jets released Antonio Cromartie. NFL.com reported the Cleveland Browns are keeping tabs on Rodgers-Cromartie as well. DRC has reportedly declined a six-year, $54 million from the Denver Broncos.
Another one of the top remaining defensive free agents, Jared Allen, visited with the Seattle Seahawks this weekend. Next up on his offseason tour is a trip to Texas to meet with the Dallas Cowboys, according to reports. Still, retirement has not be ruled out of the equation.
Jared Allen has a visit scheduled for Tuesday, and a source says it’s with the #Cowboys. He also visited the #Seahawks this weekend.

Jared Allen will likely take at least one more visit this week, besides the #Seahawks. He’s gauging his value. Walking away still an option

Seattle already boasts a front seven featuring Cliff Avril, Michael Bennett, and Bruce Irvin; adding Allen gives the Super Bowl champs another veteran presence. The Cowboys have a major need with DeMarcus Ware now a member of the Denver Broncos and Anthony Spencer unsigned.
Some wide receivers making the rounds this weekend include Kenny Britt, Lance Moore, and Mario Manningham.
According to ESPN, after a brief stint with San Francisco, Manningham is “highly interested” in returning to the Giants. The team just lost Hakeem Nicks to the Indianapolis Colts and could use Manningham on the outside as a complementary piece to Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle.
Former Giants WR Mario Manningham is scheduled to meet former team in NJ on Monday, per source. Manningham highly interested in returning.

Steelers are bringing in WR Lance Moore for a visit on Tuesday. RB James Starks visits there midweek

Moore will head to Pittsburgh on Tuesday to visit with the Steelers. He was cut by the New Orleans Saints earlier in the offseason. And Britt, who fell out of favor with the Tennessee Titans, is visiting with the New England Patriots and Washington Redskins in the next two days. The Pats just re-signed Julian Edelman and brought in Brandon LaFell, while Washington signed Andre Roberts at the start of free agency.
