Famed fighter Floyd Mayweather allegedly orchestrated “a savage attack” on two of his own employees to whom he suspected of stealing his jewelry, sources told TMZ Sports.

According to the report, the two employees, both male, had been hired to take care of Mayweather’s homes in Las Vegas, Nev. After the jewelry went missing, Money Mayweather quickly pointed the blame at them.

The men claimed they were contacted several weeks ago and were told to meet Mayweather at a neutral location. When the men arrived, Mayweather was reportedly waiting for them along with “a number of his people.” The gang allegedly “beat the living crap out of them,” making use of weapons such as clubs.

Sources told TMZ Sports that the attack was so intense that death was a realistic possibility. The men reportedly left the fight with broken arms and legs, and both were hospitalized for multiple days.

“It was some ‘Breaking Bad’ s**t,” one source told TMZ Sports.

The men remain adamant they did not steal from Mayweather’s home, according to the report. And one source believes Mayweather is slowly coming to the realization that his employees may be telling the truth.

Sources close to the situation told TMZ Sports that Mayweather’s planned attack — which is the equivalent to an attempted murder, mayhem and kidnapping — is punishable by law. With that being said, Mayweather has reportedly retained a lawyer.

When TMZ Sports reached out to the boxer and his circle for comments, they did not receive word back.

This is not the first time Mayweather has found himself in trouble with the law. Back in 2012, Mayweather was placed in jail for several months for attacking an ex-girlfriend.

Mayweather remains scheduled to fight Marcos Maidana in May, and there are no indications if and how the latest legal hiccup will impact those plans.
