Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – March 8

Claude Giroux

Calgary Flames at Vancouver Canucks

Calgary has won back to back games for the first time since January and actually managed eight goals in the process. Those eight goals are despite just 51 shots on goal so their shooting rate is completely unsustainable for more than a handful of games. The power play is rolling at just a 12.5-percent clip since the Olympics but the penalty kill is near-perfect at 13/14 in those games. Rookie goalie Joni Ortio seems to be the go-to man now and that tells you all you need to know about Calgary.

The Canucks are a mess. Period. End of story.

I will take Ortio in this one for GPPs and will take a couple Flames for cash games. I am avoiding anyone in a Canucks uniform if I can help it.
