Good morning, afternoon, evening hockey fans!

This is the live blog for the men’s Olympic hockey round robin game between the United States and Slovenia.

The US are coming off a wild shootout win yesterday against Russia in an instant classic, and probably the best (or most exciting) international hockey game not involving my home country of Canada.

Slovenia upset Slovakia yesterday 3-1, giving Slovenia its first-ever win in the Olympics (it is their first appearance as a country).

They would need some help, but Slovenia still has a chance to win their group, a group involving USA, Russia and Slovakia. It should be an interesting match-up.
