The last time the New Orleans Saints visited the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink, the highly anticipated duel quickly turned into a one-sided bloodbath. The Seahawks put up 34 points, the most points they’ve scored against any team outside of the lowly Jaguars and Vikings, while holding Drew Brees and the potent Saints offense to just seven points and 188 total yards.

Neither team played the same after that matchup. After capping a seven-game winning streak with the win against the Saints, the Seahawks lost two of their last four games, dropping a tough game to the 49ers and losing to the Cardinals for their first loss at home since dinosaurs roamed the Pacific Northwest.

The Saints, too, had a tough time as they beat the Buccaneers and Panthers at home but dropped two straight on the road to Carolina and St. Louis. On the season, the Saints went 3-5 on the road before last week’s Wild Card win over the Eagles. The Seahawks, meanwhile, have lost just one game at home since December 24 of 2011. Though, to be fair, the Seahawks haven’t lost a lot of games anywhere else either.
