Tampa Bay Lightning at Winnipeg Jets
Tampa Bay is wrapping up a four-game road trip tonight in Winnipeg that has seen them go 2-1 so far, scoring nine goals along the way. They had a bit of a letdown in their 5-3 loss to Edmonton but that happens from time to time.
The Jets have lost three straight games, however all on the road, allowing 14 goals over those contests, despite outshooting their opponents by an average margin of three. As has been the case of the Jets over the years, their goaltending is just bad.
This will be the second and final meeting between these two teams this year, with losing the first game in overtime.
This is another game I see being a low-scoring contest, so I won’t spend much time going through who I think will score. Even the goalies aren’t that great of a value, so I’ll probably stay away from this game altogether.
