Columbus Blue Jackets at St. Louis Blues

Game two of this four-game road trip for Columbus comes tonight in St. Louis, and the Blue Jackets have split their first two games so far this trip. Also, they got back goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky and forward Nathan Horton last game, and Horton made an immediate impact by scoring what would stand up as the game-winning goal.

The Blues are on quite a tear of late, going 15-4-1 in their last 20 games, 9-1-2 in their last 12 games and now have won four games in a row. Part of this has been without their top goal scorer Alex Steen, and part of this has been without both him and captain David Backes. It’s been very, very impressive.

It’s uncertain who will be in net tonight for Columbus, but I don’t think it matters if it’s Bobrovsky or Curtis McElhinney, I will be stacking Blues in this game. There is no look-ahead game or anything for St. Louis to look for, so this should be just a good old fashioned drubbing. Long live the note.

It shouldn’t really matter which lines you take players from, as it seems that the Blues are essentially running three forward units on the power play, so it’s a throwing darts at best.
