Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – December 31

Ryan Spooner Daily fantasy hockey

Los Angeles Kings at Dallas Stars

The Kings are coming off a tough 1-0 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks, which means this could be a letdown spot for the team. It’s not easy playing back-to-backs, and doing so on the road against Chicago and then Dallas is no easy task. Kind of quietly, too, the Kings have now lost three straight games, the first time they’ve done so all season.

The Stars, meanwhile, are 4-0-2 in their last six games and those two losses came to St. Louis and San Jose. One of those wins was against this very Los Angeles team on the 23rd of this month, where they won 5-2, scoring the most goals that any team has against Los Angeles since October 15th.

I see this as a good letdown spot for Los Angeles, meaning a great spot for Dallas players to rack some points. Despite being matched against the Kopitar line for most of the last game, Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn combined for five points. I expect a similar type game tonight (though that might be a couple too many points to expect).
