If you’re a Calvin Johnson owner and still playing in Week 17, Megatron likely had a lot to do with your team’s success. If this is your championship week, that relationship is about to become bittersweet as the Lions have been eliminated from playoff contention and Johnson is likely to miss Sunday’s game with a knee injury. If that’s the case, scooping up Kris Durham or Nate Burleson might not be a bad idea against a shoddy Vikings defense. It’s anyone’s guess which receiver will benefit most but I would think Durham, at 6-foot-6 and 216 pounds, can step into the CJ role and put up a big game against the Vikes.

Dez Bryant, Julian Edelman, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson, Keenan Allen, Josh Gordon, Jordy Nelson, Demaryius Thomas, and Eric Decker are all must-starts as usual. Cordarelle Patterson, Dwayne Bowe, Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline, Brandon LaFell, Rod Streater, Hakeem Nicks, and A.J. Green appear poised for big fantasy days.

That’s not the case for anyone in St. Louis, Houston, Atlanta, or Arizona. I’d stay away from anyone on the Jets as well.

Let’s take a look at all of this week’s fantasy football defensive matchups for wide receivers.
