Minnesota Wild at Philadelphia Flyers
Minnesota is playing back-to-back nights and three games in five when they go into Philadelphia tonight. In those last two games, they’ve been outscored 9-3, outshot 72-51, and they continue to be without their starting goalie Josh Harding, who is still habituating himself to new medication for his multiple sclerosis. We can only hope he returns soon, as he’s truly one of the best stories in the NHL over the last couple of years.
The Flyers have scored 32 goals in their last nine games, and are 3-0 with 12 goals scored in three home games this month.
I won’t take the time to go deeper into this game because it is screams “Fill The Net” Night for Philadelphia; Minnesota has been reeling for the better part of a month now (5-8-1 in their last 14 games), are playing back-to-back nights and the Flyers are firing on all cylinders right now.
