Pittsburgh Penguins at Ottawa Senators
There is no Evgeni Malkin again tonight for the Penguins, though that hasn’t been too much of a problem for them of late; since Malkin’s injury, the Pens have gone 4-0 with 15 goals scored. Over their last 13 games, the Penguins are 12-1 and have an outside chance to tie Anaheim for the NHL lead in points after tonight if a few things break right.
Ottawa is lineup shuffling again:
Zibanejad skating with Spezza and Michalek.

MacArthur, Turris and Ryan. Neil, Smith, Greening. Condra, Pageau and Conacher. #sens

Those new lines mean a little bit of new life for Mika Zibanejad, who inexplicably had found himself on the third line at times over Ottawa’s last few games.
What the Sens need is some better defense and goaltending, as they have allowed 20 goals against in their last five games and 32+ shots against in their last four games.
I’m not as bullish on Pittsburgh tonight as some might be, though if you can fit one lineup with the Pens’ top line, that’s not a bad idea to cover yourself a bit.
