Montréal Canadiens at Nashville Predators
The Canadiens are in a bit of a slide of late, having gone just 2-4 in their last six games, which includes a 5-1 loss to St. Louis to kick off their current road trip. The Predators haven’t been so hot of late, either, as they’ve gone 3-5 in the month of December and have lost back to back games now.
Since November 1, the Habs are 0-3 against the West while away from the Bell Centre, while the Predators are just 1-1-1 at home to Eastern Conference teams. There’s not a lot of good history to go on either side here.
The best way to look at this game is as if it will be low-scoring, and it probably will be. I won’t take much time to analyze a game that looks to be a 2-1 game, one way or the other, and I would avoid both goalies as well.
