DFS Fantasy Hockey Value Update – December 16

Dallas Stars at Colorado Avalanche

The first game of a home-and-home between these two tames takes place tonight. They have already faced off twice this year, with Colorado taking both games.

These games are matchups of great young players (Duchene, Benn, Landeskog, Seguin, Mackinnon, Nichushkin) that should promise to give us a lot of goals. Neither of their blue lines are exactly stellar, and there is a whole bunch of offensive talent.

Dallas has allowed a power play goal against in three straight games while Colorado has allowed three power play goals in their last three games. The Stars’ penalty kill is only 75-percent over their last six games while Colorado’s penalty kill is only 70-percent over its last six games.

In short, this lines up to be a high-scoring game tonight, so I would avoid the goalies and go with a lot of skaters.
