C David Desharnais, Montreal Canadiens: Don’t look now, but the controversial Hab has eight points in his last seven games, which includes three with the man advantage.
C/LW Chris Kreider, New York Rangers: Don’t sleep on Kreider who notched a hat trick Saturday. He is chipping in offensively, but also has eight penalty minutes in his last three games.
C/LW Patrik Elias, New Jersey Devils: Check to make sure the veteran scorer isn’t available in all your leagues. He should be owned in all but the smallest of small formats and likely most of those too.
C/LW Valtteri Filppula, Tampa Bay Lightning: Playing with Martin St. Louis is a bonus for anyone, but Filppula has some offensive jam in his game to really benefit.
C/LW Jaden Schwartz, St. Louis Blues: Somewhat of a fantasy long-shot, Schwartz is finding ways to contribute in all fantasy categories. He is talented and plays on one of the league’s best teams.
C/RW Mika Zibanejad, Ottawa Senators: Obviously, the plus/minus rating is a concern, but with goals in three straight and points in his last four, Zibanejad is scoring plenty.
RW Scottie Upshall, Florida Panthers: We’ve seen Upshall turn it on for stretches in the past, in between injuries, so while he is rolling he can help your fantasy team. He throws a lot of body checks and pucks on net too.
RW Wayne Simmonds, Philadelphia Flyers: He has been a major force for weeks now and should be owned in almost all formats. The penalty minutes are a huge bonus to go with his twenty-five goal upside.
D Eric Gelinas, New Jersey Devils: Only Erik Karlsson and Cam Fowler have more power play points from the blue line in the past thirty days. Gelinas is a specialist though and doesn’t eat big minutes.
D Roman Josi, Nashville Predators: With Shea Weber battling injuries, Josi is getting additional minutes and producing. His plus/minus might hurt, but he will hold value even when Weber returns.
D Chris Phillips, Ottawa Senators: The former first overall pick, has never been confused with an offensive defenseman, but he is getting power play minutes and translating the opportunity into production.

Tuesday, December 3rd – San Jose Sharks at Toronto Maple Leafs: With the Leafs in a penalty killing free fall, expect the Sharks and their top ten unit to take a juicy bite tonight.
Tuesday, December 3rd – Pittsburgh Penguins at New York Islanders: Last time these two met, the Pens scored two first period power play goals and netted four total. This is the biggest mismatch of the week.
Tuesday, December 3rd – Carolina Hurricanes at Washington Capitals: The Hurricanes are the tenth most favorable matchup, while the Capitals sit atop the Offensive PPPP Rankings and definitely worth targeting.
Wednesday, December 4th – Phoenix Coyotes at Calgary Flames: The Coyotes bring one of top power play units into Calgary to face the Flames and their 78.5 penalty kill percentage.
Thursday, December 5th – New York Islanders at St. Louis Blues: Until the Islanders show signs of improvement, every team is a viable option against them. The Blues just happen to be a top four option.
Thursday, December 5th – New York Rangers at Buffalo Sabres: The Sabres are the seventh most favorable matchup and face a Rangers team trending in the right direction. Get a few Rangers in your daily games lineups.
Friday, December 6th – Anaheim Ducks at Chicago Blackhawks: It might not be the best matchup to target, but worth monitoring based on the rankings. The Hawks are getting lit up shorthanded and the Ducks are improving with the man advantage. There should be some goals scored in this one.
Saturday, December 7th – Florida Panthers at Detroit Red Wings: The Red Wings and Panthers are huge mismatches in both sets of rankings. Load up your Red Wings Saturday.
Saturday, December 7th – New York Islanders at Los Angeles Kings: The Islanders are a long way from home and the Kings are set to take advantage of the league’s most favorable matchup.
Saturday, December 7th – Toronto Maple Leafs at Ottawa Senators: The last time these two met there were 9 goals. With the way these two are trending while shorthanded there could be even more this time around.
Sunday, December 8th – Florida Panthers at Chicago Blackhawks: A difficult spot for the already susceptible Panthers, on the wrong end of a back-to-back against the defending champions. Max out your Hawks in daily games.
