Tough matchups against the likes of Darrelle Revis, Joe Haden, Richard Sherman, or Patrick Peterson can ruin any top receiver. We’ve already seen top wideouts like A.J. Green, Calvin Johnson, and Jordy Nelson face Haden and come up with less than 52 yards apiece. This week, Antonio Brown gets the unfortunate task of going up against Haden and should be stayed away from. On the other hand, secondary receivers like Marlon Brown, Jarrett Boykin, and Kris Durham have benefited from this which could mean that Emmanuel Sanders is a decent sneaky start against Cleveland.

I would also stay away from any receiver in Oakland, Miami, Carolina, Washington, Atlanta, and Jacksonville this week. Josh Gordon has a tough matchup but he is a must-start on volume alone. The same goes for T.Y. Hilton against a tough Cards defense and Keenan Allen against a tough Chiefs defense.

On the favorable side, Vincent Jackson, Marques Colston, Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, Jordy Nelson, Jarrett Boykin, Torrey Smith, Danny Amendola, Aaron Dobson, and Victor Cruz all have good-looking matchups. Anquan Boldin figures to be a solid start against the Redskins but has been shaky. Dwaye Bowe and Kendall Wright could make for decent starts but will need a touchdown to be worth it in standard leagues.

Let’s take a look at how all of the receiver matchups are shaping up for Week 12.
