Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for April 10

Boston Bruins forward Jaromir Jagr

The last time we made our FanDuel daily fantasy hockey picks we scored 28.30 points and were able to get in the money in our 50/50 tournaments. Twenty-eight points isn’t exactly earth shattering but it was enough to get the job done. There are only five games tonight and I’m going to lean on my love of the Brad Marchand / Jaromir Jagr pairing in Boston to push us into the money.

Here’s how I’ll round out the rest of my FanDuel lineup:

Boston Bruins forward Jaromir Jagr

LW: Brad Marchand $6,900—Marchand looked great with Gregory Campbell and Jaromir Jagr. I’ll look for him to continue his success with his new line.

LW: Michael Cammalleri $5,300—Cammalleri had a goal and five shots on net against Colorado on Apr. 8. His plus/minus worries me, but I’m digging deep for value here.

RW: Jaromir Jagr $5,900—Jagr has three points in three games with Boston. He’s a great value at $5,900.

RW: Corey Perry $7,800—Perry had a goal against L.A. on Apr. 7 and followed that with a seven shot performance against Edmonton the following night. I like his matchup against a Colorado team that allows 3.15 goals per game.

C: Nazem Kadri $7,800—He’s not setting the world on fire like he was in the last week of March (and his FanDuel price tag reflects that) but he’s still a nice play against the Rangers tonight.

C: Derek Stepan $6,800—He has eight points in his last five games—including four goals. He’s a must start at $6,800 while he’s this hot.

D: Dougie Hamilton $4,100—Hamilton still hasn’t received full FanDuel love and that’s fine by me. He had an assist during Boston’s five goal outburst against Carolina and sees ample power play time.

D: Mark Giordano $3,800—Giordano has an assist in two straight games.

G: Anton Khudobin $6,500—Have I written about cheap goaltending before? Tonight we get cheap goaltending and a nice matchup. Use Khudobin with confidence.

Notable pick: Nail Yakupov is a great value at $4,300 tonight. He has six points this month and you could sub out Perry at RW to free up some cap space and play with some other positions.

With Yakupov in the lineup I may go with something like this:
