I hope our daily FanDuel NHL picks from yesterday are a signal of things to come. We went 3-1 in head-to-heads as our lineup scored 36.20 points. Jarome Iginla was our lone dud with -0.6 fantasy points. There are 11 games tonight so the player pool is very large. Because the player pool is so large there are many great options at each position. I really want Chris Kunitz and Sidney Crosby in the same lineup tonight so I’m taking a gamble on Nick Foligno. You choose your own stud though—Crosby, Kunitz or Stamkos. It’s really hard to question any of those picks.
I’ll also take Jake Allen in net as he’s only $3,900 and is the confirmed starter according to leftwinglock.com.
This is the lineup I’ll play at FanDuel tonight:
LW: Chris Kunitz $9,100—Kunitz has six points in his past two games.
LW: Nick Foligno $4,900—He has three points in his past four games. He also had the ability to pick up some penalty minutes.
RW: Chris Stewart $5,600—Stewart has really picked up his game recently. He has seven points in his past four games including a two goal performance against San Jose on March 12.
RW: Tyler Seguin $7,200—Seguin has been on fire and he gets a great matchup tonight against the Panthers. Florida has allowed a league worst 3.70 goals against per game.
C: Sidney Crosby $9,900
C: Derek Stepan $5,500—Stepan has a goal in two straight games.
D: Dougie Hamilton $4,300—I’ve been using Hamilton all season and it has paid off. I won’t stop using him against Florida.
D: John Carlson $4,500—Carlson is on Washington’s first power play unit so I’ll continue to use him at this price.
G: Jake Allen $3,900—Cheap goaltending … that’s how I’ve been playing it recently. Allen is 6-1-0, with a 2.63 GAA and a .903 save percentage.
Good luck tonight.
