I played two lineups last night on FanDuel. One lineup scored 37.40 points and the other scored 39.10. We got into the money in our 50/50’s and took one head-to-head matchup. John Carlson and Jakub Voracek were our best performers and I will most likely roll with those two when they play. Carlson could remain cheap for a few games so he is an especially appealing play.
But daily fantasy gaming is about the here and now.
Tonight I’ll go with the following lineup:
LW: Brandon Saad $4,600—Saad has four points in two games. He had an assist and two shots on net when Chicago played Colorado on Wednesday.
LW: Jiri Hudler $5,500—Hudler has been assist machine recently with six in his past three games. Tomas Fleischmann is also available at $5,500 and will be looking to bounce back from a soul sucking performance against Washington on March 6.
RW: Corey Perry $8,200—Perry has a two game goal streak. I like him against Calgary tonight.
RW: Evander Kane $7,300—Kane hasn’t had any luck recently but I think that changes tonight. He has 23 shots on goal over his past four games including a nine shot performance against Tampa Bay last night.
C: Matt Duchene $6,100—Duchene had a goal and three shots on net when Colorado played Chicago on Wednesday.
C: Ryan Getzlaf $8,100—You really have to roll with Getzlaf while he’s hot. He has five points in his last two games.
D: Brian Campbell $5,000—The only risk with Campbell is his plus/minus which FanDuel really punishes. But he’s a solid daily fantasy play with 16 points in 24 games.
D: Sergei Gonchar $4,700—Gonchar has an assist in two straight games and one of those assists came on the power play. Jay Bouwmeester and Brent Seabrook are also available at $4,700.
G: Robin Lehner $5,500—Again, I feel reckless with my goaltending but I can’t pass up a goalie available at $5,500. Lehner does have good numbers: .951 save percentage and a 1.87 GAA.
Good luck tonight.
