Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks – March 6

Anaheim Ducks right wing Corey Perry

Every player in our lineup produced last night with two soul sucking exceptions: Steven Stamkos and Max Pacioretty. Even a modest fantasy output from those two would have propelled us into the money in some tournaments. Our value plays did well with Chris Stewart getting us 7.3 fantasy points, Dougie Hamilton scored a power play goal and Jonathan Huberdeau came through with five fantasy points. It’s a strange night in daily fantasy gaming when Hamilton out scores Stamkos and Pacioretty combined.

I’ll enter the following lineup into some 50/50s and some head-to-head matchups at FanDuel:

LW: Patrick Kane $8,700—Kane has a goal in two straight games.

LW: Brandon Saad $4,000—Saad is my first value play of the night. He had a goal and two assists against Minnesota last night and has five points in his last four games.

RW: Corey Perry $8,100—Perry has been heating up and has six points over his past four games.

RW: Pierre Parenteau $6,400—Parenteau has four points in his past four games. He has a tough matchup against Chicago but I’ll still ride the hot hand.

C: Nazem Kadri $6,500—I’ve been using Kadri almost every time Toronto has a game and it has paid off. He has six points in his last three games.

C: Matt Stajan $5,000—I’ve played Stajan a few times recently and it has paid off as he has five points in his last five games.

D: Keith Yandle $5,500—Yandle has three points in his past three games. His power play minutes in addition to his consistent scoring make him a strong play tonight.

D: Carl Gunnarsson $3,700—I always try to get one value defenseman in my FanDuel lineup and tonight it’s Gunnarsson. He has four assists in his last four games.

G: Miikka Kiprusoff $6,800—I’m such a sucker for cheap goaltending I’ll take Kiprusoff at $6,800. You don’t often find goaltending under $7,000 so Kiprusoff is a risk I’m willing to take.
