1. Oakland Athletics (72-45) (Last Week 1) – Jon Lester is wasting no time in getting comfortable on the West Coast. In his brief Oakland career, Lester is now 2-0 with a 1.72 ERA with 11 strikeouts in 15.2 innings.

2. Baltimore Orioles (67-50) (LW 4) – The Orioles had five wins last week over three potential playoff teams in the Nationals, Blue Jays, and Cardinals. In those wins, they outscored their opponents by a score of 40-11.

3. Los Angeles Dodgers (67-52) (LW 3) – The Dodgers are going to have to find a way to replace one of their middle-of-the-order bats, as Hanley Ramirez is headed to the DL with an oblique strain. He has hit third or fourth in the L.A. order in 76 games this season.

4. Los Angeles Angels (68-49) (LW 2) – The Angels suffered a tough break with youngster Tyler Skaggs. In the midst of a 4 2/3-inning, no-hit performance, he partially tore his ulnar collateral ligament. Now, he’ll be out until 2016 after Tommy John surgery.

5. Milwaukee Brewers (65-53) (LW 6) – Aramis Ramirez may be the hottest hitter in baseball right now. Before going hitless on Sunday, he had an 11-game hitting streak, during which he had multiple hits in eight of them.
