4. Tre’ Jackson, Florida State
Jackson is a three-year starter who played alongside Erving at Florida State and won a national championship a year ago. Jackson’s stock was higher after the 2013-14 season than it is now, and he failed to prove otherwise during the NFL combine.
Jackson has above-average strength and leverage to push defenders off the ball and can bounce back if he’s beaten. There are questions with Jackson’s pass protection having struggled against top interior rushers. He’s an average run-blocker, but can thrive in a power run scheme.
Jackson can become complacent at times, but has flashed a lot of potential when focused.
