On Tuesday, Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer broke the story that the Cleveland Browns plan to start Johnny Manziel over Brian Hoyer.
Ultimately, I could have told you that after watching Hoyer crap the bed on Sunday but, whatever, a confirmed report is a confirmed report.
Then, ESPN broke the story without crediting Glazer, claiming the reporter that got the scoop “didn’t want to be identified.”
Predictably, Glazer went off on ESPN via Twitter:
"@TommySledge: .@JayGlazer REPORTS Manziel to start. @ESPN STEALS REPORT. JayGlazer is NOT HAPPY w/ @ESPN pic.twitter.com/mrnWZFCaN9"

Some may care, others don't, but when people work hard in any job (scoops is how our performance is judged) their work should NOT be stolen!

Great point. For shame, ESPN.
