CARTOON: Most Disappointing Rookie in the NFL?

With more games missed than tackles recorded, Jadeveon Clowney may be the consensus pick for most disappointing rookie of 2014.

Jadeveon Clowney came out of South Carolina expected to devastate opposing offenses so bad every running back in the AFC South would be forced into early retirement.

Instead, after signing a $22 million deal, Clowney has spent the year as one of the world’s best paid football spectators while his head coach mockingly calls him “Dr. Clowney.”

After impressing with 24 sacks and nine forced fumbles in three seasons with the Gamecocks, Clowney has played in just four games this year, recording seven tackles with no sacks or forced fumbles.

With so much hype and so little to show for it through more than 12 weeks, is there any rookie more disappointing thus far than the first overall pick?
