Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 4

Oakland Athletics (Gray) at Boston Red Sox (Lackey)

Sonny Gray has been excellent this year but I always worry about any pitcher going into Fenway Park. I think for today, Gray would make a great top-end GPP starter but a not-so-great Double-Up starter. There is a lot of volatility here. There are some very nice, cheap options among the Athletics’ hitters today but DFSers will have to wait until their lineup is released to know for sure.

Daric Barton (1B) – $3320

Craig Gentry (OF) – $5995

I’m not a fan of Lackey today even though he’s pitched extraordinarily well in his last couple of starts. There are other pitchers around his price that I’d rather have. I’ll shy away from most hitters against Gray today, too.
