Daily Fantasy Hockey: Line Stacks For Nov.6

daily fantasy hockey, sidney crosby

Recap: Yesterday didn’t go as I had planned to say the least. Only the Avalanche/Coyotees and Sharks/Panthers games went over their Vegas totals for the night. I didn’t have players from either team and only cashed in 1 contest. Hopefully you guys fared better than I did. Ovie missed an empty netter which would have been assisted by Oshie and Kuznetsov…that stung a bit. Onto tonight so let’s get started.

Top Line Stack- $18,400

Pittsburgh Penguins: Sidney Crosby ($7,800) Pascal Dupuis ($4,700) Patric Hornqvist ($5,900). The Pens are in Edmonton tonight vs the Oilers. The Oilers defense can give goals in bunches and I see that happening tonight vs the Pens. Pittsburgh has a lot of talent on offense but has not really been able to get it going yet and this is the perfect game for them to do so. Patric Hornqvist and Pascal Dupuis (came back from injury a couple games ago) have been re united with Crosby. Sid the kid only has six points on the year with only two of those being goals. He is just to talented to keep off the score sheet much longer and I see this line busting out in a big way tonight vs the Oil.

Other Options: Rick Nash, Derick Brassard, Mats Zuccarello. Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin, Jason Spezza (this line will always be here).

Mid Line Stack- $15,600

Anaheim Ducks: Corey Perry ($6,900) Ryan Kesler ($4,900) Carl Hagelin ($3,800). I know this line hasn’t produced much of anything this year but they are just to talented to ignore. Corey Perry is one of the best goal scorers in the league and his price will sky rocket as soon as high finds his scoring touch again. The Ducks get a juicy match up against the Columbus Blue Jackets at home tonight. Columbus played last night and they should have some pretty tired legs out on the ice for a good portion of the night. Look for the Ducks and this line in particular to finally break out tonight.

Other Options: Artemi Panarin, Jonathan Toews, Ryan Garbutt. Taylor Hall, Leon Draisaitl, Jordan Eberle (unfortunately not listed on DK).

Contrarian/Value Line Stack- $13,100

Dallas Stars: Mattias Janmark: ($3,000) Cody Eakin ($4,200) Patrick Sharp ($5,900). Most of the public will be on the Stars first line so this is a good spot to pivot off of them. This is Dallas’ second line and they have only played together for a game but I liked what I saw. They create scoring chances on a decent level and Sharp should rack up some SOG tonight improving his chances of finding the back of the net vs the Carolina Hurricanes. They are low-priced which will allow you to fit some bigger weapons into your lineup.

Other Options: Eric Staal, Jordan Staal, Elias Lindholm. Benoit Pouliot, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Nail Yakupov.

Good luck tonight and hit me up on twitter if needed @afish84.
