The Seattle Seahawks broke many fans’ hearts with their ill-fated pass play that was intercepted in the endzone to clinch the Super Bowl win for the New England Patriots – but according to one fan’s obituary, Russell Wilson’s pass literally caused one fan to have a fatal heart attack.

Michael Vedvik passed away from a heart attack just hours after the Super Bowl.

According to his obituary in the Spokesman-Review, the 53-year-old “loved his family, work, clients, traveling, the Seahawks, and life. We blame the Seahawks lousy play call for Mike’s untimely demise.”

According to the paper, Vedvik’s sister wrote the obituary and her husband added the part about the Seahawks.

She says Vedvik “would have thought it was hysterical.”
