Michael Sam began practicing with his new teammates on the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday as they prepare for their season opener against the San Francisco 49ers.
Sam lands in a unique position with the Cowboys. He is currently signed to the Cowboys practice squad and has a great chance at making the active roster. The Dallas Cowboys defense ranked 32nd in yards allowed in 2013 and they could use the help on an already thin defensive line.
