Certain players seem to always have an obstacle in their way before people give them credit. For instance, how many quality seasons did Alex Smith have to go through in San Francisco and then Kansas City before being donned a legitimate NFL starter?

Well, that still remains a touchy topic.

I'm hoping Trent Richardson excels...mainly because I'm impartial to the days of  when the big backs ruled the backfield.  Those 230.lbs and up tailbacks that would punish defenses...The Earls Campbells,  John Riggins, Gerald Riggs...and we can't forget Jim Brown or Larry Csonka just to name a few...Hail to The Big Backs....Laughing..!!!!!
